Circa 1930
From The Art of the American Snapshot 1888-1978 by Sarah Greenough and Diane Waggoner

Photographer unknown. 1920s. On the verso:
“This is the one when I was asleep. I had been in the hospital almost a month so I look kind of worn down. This picture does not do my room justice. It was all in pink and blue. I had a French telephone beside my bed on the radio that doesn’t show up here.”
